Happy Birthday Elysia Kit! =)

Oh boy! What a day! We decided to visit the Kits - Rev. Sivin, May Chin and baby Elysia around 5 something in the evening. What an experience =) I mean, personally, I don't ever recall visiting anyone (relatives included) at the hospital after their child was born. Never. Well, when I was 1 and a half years old, I went with my family to the hospital while my mum was delivering my sister, but that doesn't count now does it? Heh..





I guess this was my first real experience with this, if I am not wrong. So, there we were, after waiting all day, finally getting to meet the beautiful lil girl - Elysia (pronounced E-Lee-Shia by the way, in case anyone was wondering. Hope my description is right!)



She was so tiny, so cute.. Bigger than Gareth was when he was born apparently. The whole experience was surreal. It really felt good being there. I wasn't there when Gareth was born. Back then, I was new to BLC, new to the Kits and a new Christian too. Today, Sivin's not only my Pastor, but he's also my friend and mentor. I was just glad to be a part of this beautiful, God-blessed moment.



Thank you God for life. Thank you God for the beautiful things in life. Thank you God for your light that shines through it all, cleansing all darkness and negative that has tarnished this world, that by Your Grace, and ONLY by that Grace, are we able to enjoy the goodness of the life You have lovingly blessed us with.

Happy Birthday again Elysia, hope you liked your cake although you probably are not big enough to enjoy it. We promise you more in future. May you be blessed to be a blessing to others. Oh wait...I think you already are =)
