Dear everyone,
2 of my friends - Nai and Farah, have organized this short film convention and would like if this was spread around. Read through it, i'm excited for them! I'll be sending in my short 'Scarred', in for the convention as they have requested. It's a few years old already but the girls feel not many have watched it.
I do not have any new shorts since then to put on show, but I'll be getting into it again soon. I'll be shooting a short called 'Fall' which I've recently dusted off after a 2 year hiatus, and its in the pre-pre-production stages now *haha* I'll also be organizing a reunion and get-together with my old Film & Video gang from Uni, as it is important for indie filmmakers to have a group to support and encourage each other and work on each others' shorts. We all have kinda split up, hence all of us not doing any shorts for the past 2 years. I'll be working on Aaron Chung's new short come early May as a volunteer cam assistant and possibly on another project called 'Aman', but the latter is only a possibility at this stage. I'm excited to be getting back into some of the indie shorts stuff again! Many friends have been asking me what happened to me. Well, i hope to have an answer for them this year as I have planned.
I might go to Australia in July for a much needed break. I'm trying to plan it out and manage my finances to go. I do hope i get to go as i might even take on a short course in photography to better my skills. I'm also considering shooting 'Fall' in Australia if I am going =) Let's see how it goes!
